You should choose the GSM of a microfiber towel based on its actual use, as a higher GSM is not always better. Towels from 250–350 GSM are commonly used for everyday and commercial cleaning, while 350–500 GSM options provide a softer surface for automotive polishing and buffing. Higher-GSM twisted-loop towels are more suitable for heavy water pickup and vehicle drying. The final choice should also consider the pile structure, size, edge, and target price.
Microfiber towels commonly come in two blends: 80% polyester / 20% polyamide and 70% polyester / 30% polyamide. When the fabric structure, GSM, fiber splitting, and finishing process are comparable, 70/30 microfiber towels generally feel softer and can provide higher water absorption. In comparison, 80/20 microfiber towels often offer a more cost-effective balance of durability and cleaning performance. However, the quality of a microfiber towel cannot be judged by material composition alone. You need to take fiber splitting degree, pile structure, weaving density, and finishing treatment into comprehensive consideration.
Low-pile and high-pile microfiber towels mainly differ in pile length and surface structure. Low-pile microfiber towels are ideal for glass cleaning, polishing, removing coating residue, and wiping fingerprints. High-pile microfiber towels are softer and fluffier, making them suitable for dusting, buffing, interior cleaning, and delicate surfaces.
Edgeless microfiber towels have no traditional stitched edges. Their edges are finished by ultrasonic or laser cutting. Removing traditional stitched borders can reduce edge bulk and friction against delicate surfaces. These towels are commonly used for car paint, polishing, coating removal, and other delicate surfaces. However, surface safety still depends on the fabric structure, edge quality, towel cleanliness, and correct use. Your choice should also match the application, durability needs, and target price.
Our MOQ depends on the fabric, size, color, logo method, and packaging you need. Standard specifications are usually more flexible, while custom colors or complex packaging may require a higher quantity. We will clearly confirm the MOQ before you place an order. Samples normally take about two weeks, and bulk production takes around 30-35 days after approval. Final timing depends on your specifications and order quantity.
The wash life of a microfiber towel depends on its fibers, fabric structure, edging, and washing conditions. A high-quality towel can maintain good performance after more than 100 washes, but the exact number must be confirmed through testing. Wash microfiber towels separately or with other lint-free textiles using a mild detergent and a low-to-moderate water temperature. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, and excessive heat, as they may damage or coat the fibers and reduce cleaning performance.
Yes. We can produce custom-color microfiber towels matched to your Pantone code or an approved color sample. Since the final color may vary with the fabric structure, pile height, material blend, and lighting, bulk dyeing starts only after you approve the sample.
